Ulrich Weichert

I grew up in Bonn (...a long time ago). Trained as a photographer with Karl-Hugo Schmölz in Cologne, then studied at the Cologne Art School (master student of Arno Jansen in 1978).

I was photo editor at the Press and Information Office of the Federal Government till 2013 and am a freelance artist/photographer since 2013, living in Berlin. 

My son, Kasimir Weichert, became a photographer too.
