praxinoscope - Frequently asked questions

You may use old or new photos, but you should have in mind that the purpose of this invitation is to make you question the way you see and conceive photography.

You may submit as many stories as you which via our submission form or by identifying @opemagazine in your posts and tagging them with #opemagazinepraxinoscope on Instagram. We remind you that it is a fortnightly chronicle so each photo-story will have a better chance of being selected if sent separately distributed over time.

No, images generated or edited with AI technology will not be considered.

If your photo-story is selected you will be contacted by the same means of communication you used for your submission and, if needed, asked to send us all the elements to create a photographer’s profile on the Ope Magazine website - www.opemagazine.com .

Selected photographers will be contacted to send the following information to opemagazine.pt@gmail.com :

• Biography (upt to 1300 characters)
• Story title;
• Photo-story composed by four photos (max.1500 pixels long side)
• Brief explanation of the story images or the creation process - up to 2000 characters (optional); 
• Link to website (in case it applies);
• Instagram link (www.instagram/username)
• Selection of five to ten photographs for the portfolio to be created on the Ope Magazine website (max.1500 pixels long side); each with title or brief description (optional)
• Data must be sent via Wetransfer or via a shared folder (e.g. Google Drive).
